High loading capacity, chemical resistance as well as fatigue strength are characteristics which approve S-Ply® leaf springs in machines for the paper industry. S-Ply® leaf springs come into operation as guiding springs for the de-watering sieve of the pulp and as supporting springs for the breast rolls. Depending on the design, either hanging or standing sieves and breast rolls can be used. The springs are exposed to high humidity and have to carry over high mass-forces at large displacement. Also here S-Ply® leaf springs have very well established in long-time applications.
